Trump Hails Manufacturing and Market Surge as America’s ‘Golden Age’

(Worthy News) – President Donald Trump declared Tuesday that the United States has entered a new “Golden Age,” pointing to accelerating factory activity, record stock-market levels and sustained growth in American exports.

“Manufacturing is booming,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, noting that factory activity expanded in July at its fastest pace in more than four years. The Institute for Supply Management’s manufacturing index rose to 55.6, while new orders expanded for a seventh consecutive month—signaling continued demand for American production.

Trump also highlighted record-setting financial markets, arguing that investors increasingly believe “America is winning.” The White House reported earlier this year that the S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow Jones Industrial Average and NYSE Composite had all established repeated record highs since Trump returned to office.

The president said U.S. goods exports have exceeded $200 billion for five consecutive months and are on pace to approach $2.5 trillion for the year. Census figures showed goods exports reached $207.7 billion in May, although total exports declined from the previous month.

Major corporations have also announced hundreds of billions of dollars in planned American investments, including new semiconductor, pharmaceutical, automotive and artificial-intelligence facilities.

Still, economic pressures remain. Higher fuel and grocery costs continue to weigh on families, while federal employment data showed manufacturing payrolls changed little in June.

“This is the Golden Age of America, and we’re just getting started,” Trump said.
