Trump Calls Iran’s Strikes ‘Very Weak’ After Receiving Avanced Notice

By Stefan J. Bos, Chief International Correspondent Worthy News

WASHINGTON/TEHRAN (Worthy News) – U.S. President Donald J. Trump suggested Monday he won’t retaliate for Iran’s missile strikes at U.S. bases in the Middle East, saying the attacks were “very weak” and thanked Tehran for the advance notice of the attacks.

Trump said Tehran’s missile barrage came after the U.S.“obliterated” Iran’s nuclear facilities, adding that 13 out of 14 missiles were intercepted, with one allowed to land in an open area.

Trump thanked Iran for giving the United States notice before shooting missiles at its military base in Qatar, which he stressed made it possible for no lives, both Qatari and American, to be lost.

“I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done. Most importantly, they’ve gotten it all out of their ‘system,’ and there will, hopefully, be no further HATE,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social media platform.

“Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same,” Trump added.

In a later post, Trump also expressed his gratitude to the emir of Qatar and said:” CONGRATULATIONS WORLD, IT’S TIME FOR PEACE!”

CENTRAL COMMAND

Iran launched ballistic missiles towards US bases across the Middle East on Monday evening, including the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)’s Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, and Ain al-Asad Air Base in Iraq.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)defended the attack, saying it responded to “the blatant military aggression of the United States against the peaceful nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the clear violation of international law.”

Tehran threatened attacks on any countries it perceived to be providing military support to Israel during Operation Rising Lion.

The U.S. struck several Iranian nuclear sites after the beginning of the operation, which led to Iranian officials justifying attacks on American assets in the region.

Israel and the United States said their military actions are aimed at preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and to ensure it won’t be able to realize its self-declared intention to destroy the Jewish nation.
