Netanyahu Recuperates Following Successful Prostate Surgery

by Emmitt Barry, Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is alert and recuperating following successful prostate surgery at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Medical Center, according to a late Sunday statement from his office. The statement also noted that the prime minister has been transferred to a fortified recovery ward underground.

“The surgery ended successfully without complications,” announced the Prime Minister’s office. “The prime minister has woken up, is in good condition and is completely conscious.”

He will remain under observation in the fortified recovery ward for several days.

On Sunday, Netanyahu’s defense attorney asked the Jerusalem District Court to cancel this week’s scheduled hearings where the premier was set to testify in his criminal defense trial.

The court promptly granted the request and announced that the hearings are slated to resume the following week, on Monday, January 6. They also expressed wishes for the prime minister’s complete recovery.
