‘Hamas Out!’ Gaza Protests Grow as Terrorist Group Threatens Demonstrators

by Emmitt Barry, Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News) – Mass protests against Hamas continued in Gaza on Wednesday—following two days of demonstrations last week, marking the most significant unrest in 18 months—as the terror group tortured and killed two protesters, threatened a crackdown, and drew vows of revenge from the victims’ families.

Footage circulating on social media showed crowds of hundreds—possibly thousands—gathering across Gaza, chanting slogans like “Hamas out, out, out,” and “Enough death.”

Gaza-born American activist Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib shared several videos and photos on , writing: “New massive anti-Hamas demonstrations in northern Gaza are demanding an end to the war that the terror group started. They want Hamas to step down and ‘get out’ – Men, women, the elderly, children, and wounded folks came out, desperate to make their voices heard!”

The protests followed after a Gaza family openly admitted this week to killing a Hamas member after claiming he had fatally shot one of their relatives. Hamas operatives reportedly kidnapped, tortured, and executed 22-year-old Oday Nasser Al Rabay for participating in anti-Hamas protests in Gaza last week, Worthy News earlier reported.

On Tuesday, the Abu Samra clan publicly executed a Hamas operative in revenge for the killing of a young family member, with footage of the act going viral.

In response, Hamas issued a statement stating, “We will not allow any party to spread chaos in the Gaza Strip or take the law into their hands,”  adding that it had begun measures to bring those involved to justice.

On Wednesday, Palestinian sources reported that Hamas shot and killed a man from Gaza’s Shejaiya neighborhood during a crackdown on protesters. The victim, reportedly the son of a mukhtar (clan leader), sparked intense gunfire between his family and Hamas operatives. His relatives blamed Hamas  for the killing and vowed revenge, declaring, “The blood of our son will not be in vain.”

The protests reflect growing dissent against Hamas, fueled by despair over Israel’s aid cut-off and ongoing Israeli military strikes targeting Hamas in Gaza. While many Gazans are demanding an end to the war, they aren’t necessarily pro-Israel or openly rejecting Hamas’ ideology.
