Ohio State University Revival Sparks Student Worship

(Worthy News) – The Spirit of God is stirring hearts at Ohio State University, where hundreds of students gathered in a powerful display of worship, repentance, and surrender to Jesus.

In a video shared on X by Pastor Travis Johnson of the National Faith Advisory Board, students can be seen weeping, praising, and bowing in prayer across the campus.

“Weeping, Praising, Salvation, Baptism, & Surrender,” Johnson wrote. “May every campus in America experience a movement of God unlike they have ever known.”

The event was organized by members of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team, who extended what they called “An invitation to Jesus.” Players including Caleb Downs, Sonny Styles, and Luke Montgomery joined with teammates to share testimonies, encourage faith, and witness lives changed.

What began as a night of fellowship quickly turned into a Spirit-led service of worship, unity, and baptism. Students laid aside their pride to seek God together, some stepping forward to give their lives to Christ for the first time.

Observers described the atmosphere as one of brokenness and hope, with the sound of repentance echoing across the campus.

Faith leaders say this revival could mark the beginning of a new wave of campus awakenings across America.
