(Worthy News) – Several Arab media outlets reported on Thursday evening that Israel conducted strikes on facilities associated with the Syrian Ministry of Defense, situated to the east of Aleppo.
According to the Syrian radio station Sham FM, the strikes targeted a defense facility and a scientific research center near the city of al-Safirah, close to Aleppo.
The Saudi television channel Al-Hadath reported that “the attacks in Syria, which appear to be Israeli, targeted defense factories in the area of the city of As-Safira, east of Aleppo.” The channel also noted that the city houses “some of the largest defense factories in Syria.”
The Russian news agency Sputnik reported that three Israeli fighter jets flew over the city of Aleppo, launching several missiles targeting military factories and scientific research centers.
Israel has not yet confirmed any activity in Syria. However, the Jewish nation has consistently conducted covert operations in Syria to prevent terrorists from arming and launching attacks against Israel.
